Acute polyradiculoneuritis, a frightening-sounding disease of the peripheral nerves. In layman's terms, a condition where the brain and spinal cord function as they should, but the peripheral nerves coming from the spinal cord do not. Patients exhibit the so-called "rag doll" syndrome - whole-body paralysis. Treatment consists of supportive therapy for secondary problems, more or less the only option is rehabilitation.

Really honest rehabilitation several times a day - you teach the patient everything from scratch, every relearned movement of the paralyzed body is a success. The video shows a sample from one of our exercises with 13-year-old grandmother Lussy (a condition after poisoning with an unknown substance). Despite her age, Lussy managed to cope with her problem wonderfully and today she is completely mobile :-)
