Cardiology

 

These closely related fields address the issues of heart and respiratory diseases. The range of diagnostic options is expanding significantly. To establish a diagnosis, we use X-ray + CT scans, Doppler echocardiography, blood marker tests, genetic tests and, last but not least, increasingly endoscopic examinations.

 

We collaborate on recovery programs for genetically determined cardiomyopathies in large breed dogs.

 

We diagnose:

 

  • congenital heart defects, we offer PDA surgery and provide other options for solving congenital defects at specialized workplaces.

  • HCM in cats by echocardiography, in some breeds using genetic testing

  • We perform surgery on the pericardium and some heart tumors.

  • Expanding endoscopic equipment allows us to more accurately examine the anterior and posterior parts of the nose, trachea, and lungs.

  • We deal with the diagnosis and surgery of brachycephalic syndrome.
